Done last year as a Christmas gift to one of my aunts.
I've never been a social person, even with my family. In fact, I'm so distant most of my family members get the impression that I hate them when I really do care about them, I just can't express it clearly.
...Yeah, so its a week before Christmas and I just up and decide "Hey Imma totally gonna do art for my family members to fix this misconception". Yep. One week. How did I think I could do it all? I don't know. But I was living and breathing my acrylics for 16 hours a day all that week. I completed many works at record speed. This one has only 8 to 10 hours put in it. I don't know if that qualifies as a speed painting or not, but I did excuse minor anatomy flaws just to get it done in time.
And yes, my family was totally surprised and over-joyed. All misunderstandings have been cleared up. So now you get to see the only photo I took of this before I gave it away. Not the best picture but its decent.
